 Jason did extremely well with his first 4-H Beef project in 2008. He and Luna received 1st place and Champion in the Fitting and Showing Novice class at the Southern Maryland Invitational Livestock Show, as well as the St Marys County Fair.

Our black market goats placed exceptionally well this year. Angus and One Spot placed 1st and 2nd within their weigh classes. A special thanks to J.F. Taylor Inc. for purchasing and donating the meat to a local food pantry. Thank you also goes out to Marti Lloyd for purchasing a goat and donating it back to the Rope n Wranglers 4-H Club.

 Our dark brown market goat Taz also did remarkable at catching the judges eye. John received 1st place within his weigh class. We would like to thank Mr. PJ Bean of Beans Excavating and Hauling for purchasing this goat and donating the meat to a local food pantry.
